A maelstrom, the chaos, a vortex, a turmoil. These are appropriate words to describe the hard work of the prolific French producer.
With a cryptic history incorporating nearly two decades of aliases and side projects born out of free parties in warehouses, fields and basements, it is under this moniker that the artist has truly come into his own.
With Louisahhh, they form the gritty yet graceful techno- punk duo Maelstrom & Louisahhh, with a decade of collaboration before them, co-founding their label RAAR (dedicated to unique, challenging and beautiful cross-disciplinary creative adventures) and touring the world.
He recently released his latest album FM Tapes (2024), on Central Processing Unit, with some of his most jittery and leftfield electronics for the label yet.
